Honda has released details of a mildly facelifted GL1800 Gold Wing.
The ageing 1800cc six-cylinder luxury tourer, unchanged for a decade, has had a minor restyle claimed to improve wind protection, an updated GPS navigation system, iPod interface and new ‘surround sound‘ audio system, larger panniers with 7 litres greater carrying capacity and different suspension settings (but not different suspension).
The bike will go on sale in the USA in May 2011, with prices starting at $23,199, while the European version will appear in showrooms in early 2012.
By facelifting the model at this stage Honda‘s body language suggests there will be no all-new Gold Wing for several years yet, scotching rumours of an imminent 8-cylinder version.
Kevin's funeral was held on Thursday 28th February 2013 and was well attended by family, friends and colleagues.

The donations keep coming in, thank you so much, and the family especially like it when you leave a message.
